Minister of Housing and Infrastruture, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has visited 9 islands in Haa Dhaalu Atoll as part of his ongoing tour of the atoll.
He is visiting the atoll as a special envoy of President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom.
Minister Muizzu visited the islands of Finey, Hirimaradhoo, Naavaidhoo, Neiylaidhoo, Kulhudhufushi, Neykurendhoo, Kumundhoo, Vaikaradhoo and Makunudhoo.
During his meetings with members of island councils, he urged them to give their full support to the Government to implement its policies.
The Minister is accompanied on the visit by Ahmed Nihan Hussain Manik, the ruling Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) parliamentary group leader, and other parliament members.
