The Ambassador of Bangladesh to the Maldives, Kazi Sarwar Hossain, has paid the farewell call on President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom.
During the call held Monday afternoon at the President’s Office, the President expressed appreciation for the valuable assistance and continued support rendered by the Ambassador, during his tenure.
The President also conveyed his confidence in working closely with the Government of Bangladesh to strengthen the long-existing relations with greater collaboration between the two counties.
The Ambassador conveyed appreciation for the cooperation extended by the Government of Maldives and expressed his confidence that the same level of cooperation will be provided to his successor.
The Ambassador also conveyed best wishes to the President and the Government of Maldives.
