Senior government officials have discussed approaches to navigating challenges in leadership and governance during the fifth session of the Executive Development Program 2025–2027.
The session, held at the main auditorium of the Maldives National University, brought together officials serving in senior leadership positions across government ministries and state institutions.
The lecture was delivered by Mohamed Kaleem, who has more than three decades of experience in business, leadership training and community engagement. He focused on the challenges leaders face in governance and explored approaches to addressing them effectively.
The Executive Development Program is a two-year initiative designed to strengthen the leadership and professional capabilities of senior officials across state institutions.
The programme is led by the Political Appointees Performance Management and Capacity Development Section of the Political and Parliamentary Affairs Office at the President's Office, in collaboration with the Civil Service Training Institute and the Foreign Service Institute of Maldives.
The initiative runs from 2025 to 2027 and forms part of efforts to develop stronger leadership and management capacity within government institutions.
