MNDF to conduct training programmes for government staff

Defence Minister Adam Shareef Umar has announced that Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) is planning to conduct training programmes targeting government staff.

He made the announcement speaking at the closing ceremony of the “Experience Leadership with MNDF” programme for staff of the Auditor General’s Office.

Speaking at the closing function, Defence Minister Adam Shareef Umar highlighted the leadership role displayed by Auditor General Hassan Ziyath in attending the training programme.

Noting that MNDF personnel would continue to play a leading role in every matter of national importance, the Defence Minister urged the staff of other government offices to follow the example set by MNDF, and put the nation first in everything they do.

Speaking at the function, the Auditor General commended the services provided by MNDF personnel.

The Auditor General and 56 other staff of the Auditor General’s Office participated in the two-day training programme held in Girifushi Island.
