Islamic University of Maldives (IUM) has signed a partnership agreement with the Sultan Shareef Ali University (UNISSA) of Brunei.
The agreement was signed during a visit by Chancellor of IUM Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, as a special guest at the convocation ceremony of the Sultan Shareef Ali University.
The partnership agreement was signed by Dr. Shaheem and Rector of Sultan Shareef Ali University Dr. Haji Norarfan Bin Haji Zainal.
Under the agreement, students of IUM will be provided postgraduate programmes at the UNISSA, student exchange programmes, and opportunities under the “study abroad programme” for undergraduate students.
IUM also said the agreement facilitates joint research between the two institutions, in addition to training programmes and workshops.
