Health Minister Abdulla Nazim Ibrahim said Friday that recognising and appreciating dedication and services of healthcare staff, is an integral part of health sector development.
The Health Minister made the statement, speaking at the Employee Performance Awards function of privately-owned ADK Hospitals Pvt. Ltd.
Speaking at the function, Nazim highlighted on the essential role played by privately-owned healthcare service providers, and said that “contributions to the Government’s health sector development plan by the private sector is vital to further the sector.”
He also urged all healthcare providers to recognise and appreciate dedication and services of their staff, which he described as “an important part of health sector development.”
At the function held at Ghiyasuddin International School, the Employee of the Year award was conferred to Angelina Rose from the Philippines, who works in the Nursing Department.
76 employees were conferred awards in three categories at the function.
