ADK announces project to build theatre complex

ADK Hospital announced plans to develop an operation theatre complex.

Managing Director of the privately-owned hospital Ahmed Affal said that the complex would include three operation theatres, and one of which would be equipped to conduct open-heart surgeries.

He said that “with the new complex, ADK will have a total of five operation theatres, and will cater for the growing demand for surgical procedures.”

Noting that the hospital is working to improve its services, Affal said that “the new ten-storey building under development will include a twenty-four room apartment block, in addition to staff accommodation.”
