FENAKA Corporation has said sewerage network projects in Buruni and Madifushi Islands of Thaa Atoll have been completed.
The state-owned utility company is currently undertaking a number of water and sewerage projects across the country.
Managing Director of the company – Ahmed Shareef said projects in Buruni and Madifushi Islands of Thaa Atoll have been completed.
Speaking about other works carried out by the company, Shareef said 90% of the work to relocate the powerhouse of Dharavandhoo Island in Baa Atoll has been completed, while 60% of powerhouse relocation in Maakurathu Island of Raa Atoll and 55% of the work to move the powerhouse in Vashafaru Island of Haa Alifu Atoll have been completed.
Other projects undertaken by the company include renovation work of powerhouses in Hirimaradhoo Island of Haa Dhaal Atoll, Magoodhoo Island of Faafu Atoll and Filladhoo Island of Haa Alifu Atoll.
