The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Iruthisham Adam has departed to India on her first official overseas visit in her tenure.
This visit is in response to an invitation from the Minister of External Affairs of India, Dr S. Jaishankar. On this trip, she is accompanied by Additional Secretary, Dr. Ibrahim Zuhuree, and Assistant Director, Aminath Guraisha.
Minister Iruthisham will be arriving in New Delhi for scheduled talks with Minister Dr Jaishankar to strengthen bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the Maldives and India, and exchange dialogue in fields of common interest.
