Mohamed Hanim has been appointed Deputy Commissioner of Sports.
Hanim is widely respected within the Maldivian sports community for his contributions and support across multiple sports, especially in athletics. He represented the Maldives at the 1988 Seoul Olympics.
After his career as an athlete, he held several senior roles in sports administration, including General Secretary of the Athletics Association.
