Gov't warns against unregistered medical college advertisement

Minister of Education, Higher Education and Skills Development has warned students about unregistered “SAS Medical College” advertisements seeking students.

A statement issued by the ministry said SAS Medical College is not registered under the Higher Education and Training Act of the Maldives. The ministry further said operating or promoting an institution as a college without proper registration is illegal under the Act. It is also an offence to advertise or present an institution as a university or college without official registration, it said.


The ministry is urging students and the public to be cautious of misleading advertisements linked to SAS Medical College.
