The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has begun forming management corporations for the operation and maintenance of strata buildings under new regulations.
The move aims to improve management of strata buildings in Hulhumale’ and similar developments by making building maintenance and services more efficient and structured.
According to HDC, the first annual general meetings for Vinares Strata 1, 2, and 3 will be held on 26, 27, and 28 of this month. Management corporations will be established and councils elected during the AGMs. The strata will be officially handed over to the elected management corporations at the meeting. Unit owners, HDC representatives and Housing Ministry officials will be attending the event.
Each council will manage building operations for its respective strata. The council will include a president, treasurer, secretary and one general member.
Vinares strata breakdown:
- Strata 1: 564 units (Towers 1–4)
- Strata 2: 492 units (Towers 5–8)
- Strata 3: 288 units (Towers 9–10)
Following Vinares, similar management systems will be introduced for other medium-sized strata buildings in Hulhumale’.
