For the Utheemu project, both the existing and new harbour basins will be dredged to increase depth and improve navigability. The works further encompass land reclamation, installation of groynes, mooring rings, harbour lighting, and concrete paving. Shore protection measures will include geotube revetments, groyne maintenance, and the construction of a ramp, breakwater, and channel breakwater.
