The Ministry of Social and Family Development has officially launched a new, user-friendly website to bring its services and outreach efforts closer to the public, in a significant step toward fostering greater social cohesion and community involvement.
The digital platform not only offers comprehensive information on the Ministry’s programmes and initiatives but also enables individuals to provide financial assistance to the Ministry Trust Fund with just a few clicks.
Donations can now be made seamlessly through the "Help" section of the website, which is integrated with the Bandeyri Pay portal—managed by the Ministry of Finance and Planning—ensuring secure and transparent transactions. This initiative underscores the Ministry’s commitment to expanding support for vulnerable families and individuals across the nation.
The website highlights several key areas where contributions can make a meaningful difference—"Feed a Family" to combat food insecurity, "Support a Family or Child" to enhance health and well-being, and "Sponsor a Child" to ensure access to education, healthcare, and essential needs.
In addition to monetary donations, the platform encourages civic engagement by enabling citizens to "Become a Volunteer or Intern" or offer "General Assistance" by contributing their time and skills to community-based programmes.
The Ministry emphasised that this digital transformation is more than a technological upgrade—it represents a vital bridge connecting compassionate citizens with those in need. By making real-time updates on ongoing projects and impact reports readily accessible, the Ministry aims to promote transparency, trust, and active participation in building a more inclusive society.
