The National Awards Committee has announced that nominations for this year’s National Awards will open on Wednesday, 25 March, with applications closing at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, 30 April.
This year, applications will be accepted exclusively through the President’s Office online submission portal. The committee has urged applicants to ensure that all required documents are submitted along with the application form.
Nominations will be accepted across 39 primary categories. As in previous years, individuals, companies, associations and other entities may submit nominations directly, either on their own behalf or on behalf of others, without the need to go through a government agency.
Government agencies and independent institutions are also eligible to submit nominations.
The National Awards will be presented at the official function held to mark National Day.
Following the closing of nominations, the committee will open applications for the National Award for Public Service on 6 May.
