Voting opened on Monday for Maldives Travel Awards.
Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators, MATATO Maldives Travel Awards - the most prestigious Travel Award given in the Maldives - received a record number of nominations this year.
MATATO said it received 246 nominations in 35 categories this year.
Nominations which receive the highest points will win the awards. 75% of the points will be awarded by the judges, and the remaining 25% will come via SMS messaging by the public.
Voters can cast their votes through the official website: www.travelawards.mv and also via SMS, available to both Dhiraagu and Ooredoo customers.
MATATO assures all participants that the judging process conducted by professionals and experts in the industry will be fair.
The Maldives Travel Awards is the most prestigious and exclusively recognised label in the hospitality sector of Maldives.
