President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom on Monday appointed Minister of Youth and Sports Iruthishaam Adam as acting Minister of Foreign Affairs until Dr. Mohamed Asim concludes his visit to New York as head of the Maldives Delegation at the United Nations General Assembly.
The President also appointed Minister for Legal Affairs at the President’s Office Aishath Azima Shakoor as the head of the Attorney General’s Office until Mohamed Anil’s return from an official overseas visit.
