President appoints Hassan Shafeeu to JSC

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Uz Hassan Shafeeu as a member of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC), representing the judges of the High Court.

Uz Hassan Shafeeu took the oath of office and signed the declaration of membership at a ceremony held at the President’s Office. The oath was administered by Justice Uz Mohamed Saleem of the Supreme Court of the Maldives.

Following the oath-taking, the President formally presented the letter of appointment.

The appointment was made in accordance with Article 158(c) of the Constitution of the Republic of Maldives and Section 3(3) of Law No. 10/2008, the Judicial Service Commission Act.
