Housing Ministry on Monday assigned Maldives Transport and Contracting Company MTCC to construct an entrance channel and a breakwater in Biledhdhoo Island, Faafu Atoll.
According to the Ministry, the 10.2 million Rufiyaa project will be completed within 160 days.
The project will see the construction of a 68-meter rock armour breakwater and a 24-meter wide channel and the closure of the existing entrance channel.
The project contract was signed by Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Dr.Mohamed Muizzu and Managing Director of MTCC Ahmed Kurik Riza.
