President Muizzu Pledges Action on Concerns Raised by Citizens

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has said that he is closely monitoring the concerns raised by the people in the meeting he holds with local communities and will take the necessary action to address them.

He made the remarks in a meeting with the residents of Maafaanu ward of Male’ City.

Opening the meeting, the President said the government places a high priority on finding solutions to the issues faced by citizens. Noting that Maafannu is the most densely populated area in Male’ City, the President acknowledged that its residents continue to face numerous challenges, adding that the government is giving special priority to resolving these concerns. He said all concerns, ideas or complaints raised are taken seriously.

"We are attending to the letters received from the people and working to resolve the issues. Some matters have already been resolved for certain individuals. Many of these are personal matters, and there are also issues related to the society as a whole. Similarly, we are working on addressing issues raised during the two community meetings held in Male’ recently,” he said.

The President had previously met with the residents of Villimale’ and Machchangolhi ward to hear and discuss their concerns.
