President meets General Secretary of Maldives Olympic Committee

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom on Tuesday met the General Secretary of Maldives Olympic Committee Ahmed Marzooq.

Marzooq has recently been conducting the ‘Training with MV Champs’ initiative.

During the meeting held at the President’s office, the General Secretary presented the President with a special relay baton in recognition of the President’s contributions towards promoting sports in Maldives and for his encouragement of Maldivian athletes.
