Health Protection Agency (HPA) on Sunday began a health screening programme for adolescents.
The programme which commenced at Ghiyasuddin International School seeks to identify the health status of adolescents and provide necessary information regarding medical condition of the students to their parents.
According to HPA the programme will be conducted till September 4.
The health screening programme includes blood pressure check-ups, weight and height measurements, and testing for diabetes, thalassaemia and dental hygiene.
HPA said parents will be informed about any adolescents who need further medical attention.
