Private healthcare provider ADK Hospital Friday evening launched advanced state-of-the-art CT scanning services.
The service was officially inaugurated by Home Minister Azleen Ahmed.
According to the hospital, modern CT Scanning, MRI and Ultra Sound Scanning services are now available at its Radiology Department.
Speaking after inaugurating the service, Home Minister Azleen Ahmed described the new service as “revolutionary”, and welcomed health sector development efforts undertaken by ADK Hospital.
Some of the top healthcare services are now available at state-run Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital and ADK Hospital, he noted.
He also advised the people against travelling to foreign countries for medical treatment, while the services are available in the country.
Managing Director of ADK Hospital Ahmed Affal said new Siemens scanning machine provides CT angiography, and cardiac, neuro and vascular angiography.
Doctors and staff have now been trained to operate the new machine, he further noted.
