HDC: Hulhumalé Centro Mall to be opened in 3 months

Housing Development Corporation (HDC) on Thursday said shops, cafés and restaurants to be opened at the Centro Shopping Mall in Hulhumalé will be completed within three months.

HDC said 30 of the 25 stalls at the country’s first shopping mall have already been leased out, for 3 to 10 year periods.

Managing Director of HDC Mohamed Saiman told PSM News that “the shopping mall will be officially opened in three months, with the completion of the shops, cafés and restaurants.”

A branch of Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) is currently operated at the Centro Mall, where an office of the Mauritius Bank is also expected to be opened soon.
