The Speaker of Parliament, Abdul Raheem Abdulla, has embarked on an official visit to Pakistan, as confirmed by the Parliament Secretariat.
The high-profile delegation, led by Speaker Abdul Raheem, arrived in Islamabad, the capital, for a series of engagements aimed at strengthening bilateral ties.
Accompanying the Speaker are several distinguished Members of Parliament, including Hulhudhoo Member of Parliament Mohamed Shahid, Manadhoo Member of Parliament Husni Mubarak, Gan Member of Parliament Yousuf Nasheed, and Central Hulhumale Member of Parliament Abdullah Shazeem.
During the visit, the Speaker is scheduled to hold meetings with a number of senior Pakistani government officials, underscoring the Maldives Parliament's commitment to fostering a robust relationship with its Pakistani counterpart and exploring avenues for mutual cooperation.
