2nd round of Getset programme to be announced soon

Mohamed Saeed, Minister of Economic Development, on Sunday said a second round of the Getset Maldives Youth Entrepreneurship Loan Scheme, which aims to encourage youth entrepreneurship in the country, will be launched in the near future.

He made the remarks at a meeting held marking the successful completion of the first round of the loan scheme.

Preparations are underway to commence the second round of the loan scheme, he said.

He added that the Ministry would work closely with those who started businesses with the finances received through the loan scheme.
