Maldivian to begin operations to Mumbai & New Delhi soon

National carrier Maldivian on Thursday revealed plans to commence operations to Mumbai and New Delhi, India.

Managing Director at Island Aviation Services Ltd, which operates Maldivian, Abdulla Haaris said a team from Maldivian would travel in the coming days to the two destinations to discuss about the flight operations.

He added that final preparations are now underway to commence the operations.

The national carrier on July 6 commenced direct flights to Chengdu, China, expanding international operations to 7 cities across China.

Currently, Maldivian operates flights to 7 destinations in China, Dhaka of Bangladesh, Thiruvananthapuram and Chennai of India, and Bangkok, Thailand.
