President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom on Monday sent a congratulatory message to Pushpa Kamal Dahal, the New Prime Minister of Nepal, following his victory in the recent elections.
In his message, President Yameen extended good wishes and congratulation on behalf of the Government and the people of Maldives to the new Prime Minister of Nepal on winning the elections.
President Yameen said the election reflects the confidence that the people of Nepal have in Pushpa Kamal Dahal as a leader.
He added that he was certain that under Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s able leadership, the people of Nepal would achieve greater success and prosperity.
In his message, the President further said that he looks forward to working with Pushpa Kamal Dahal to further strengthen the close and friendly relations between the two countries.
