Maldives Civil Service Commission (CSC) on Wednesday signed an enhanced partnership and cooperation agreement with the Civil Service Commission of Thailand.
The agreement would pave way for local civil servants to obtain training and experience in Thailand.
Dr. Ali Shameem, President of CSC said the agreement provides an opportunity for local civil servants to participate in training programmes conducted by the Thai Civil Service Commission for ASEAN countries.
He said that the commission is working to sign such agreements with its counterpart organisations in other countries.
“Discussions aimed at securing such opportunities for civil servants will be held with the Pakistani High Commissioner tomorrow. Similar discussions are currently underway with the Pakistani Academy of Public Administration,” he added.
