Final preparations were underway on Wednesday for the country’s first ever vacation exhibition.
The Vacation Expo is organised by private event management company High Rise and it will be held from August 4 to 6.
According to the organiser, the purpose of the event is to promote, lead and advance the travel and tourism industry and will act as a perfect business platform attended by a huge number of locals and foreigners, trade professionals and business owners associated with the travel sector.
The organiser said 39 exhibitors will participate in the exhibition, including travel agents, tour operators, guest houses, regional tour organisers and airlines promoting airfares, tours, adventure, leisure and family vacations. The 3-day event will be held at the National Art Gallery.
