Home Minister elected LGA President

Home Minister Ahmed Zuhoor has been elected President of the Local Government Authority.

Zuhoor was elected to the post with the votes of 6 out of 7 members of the LGA Board present at its 9th meeting.

Zuhoor was the only member who contested for the post.

The post was vacant following the resignation of former Home Minister Umar Naseer.

Zuhoor was appointed to the LGA Board as the representative of the president.
