Public Service Media on Thursday signed an agreement with the Tourism Ministry to broadcast “Aydin”, the first children’s cartoon aimed at promoting climate change adaption and climate change awareness among children.
According to the Tourism Ministry, the film was created with the help of famous 3D animator Yamin Rasheed, the creator of the famous “Maakanaa Show”.
The cartoon aims to educate and entertain children and also achieve the idea of creating awareness about the environment, it said.
The Ministry further said the cartoon is aimed to be an educational tool which would help teachers and parents in teaching their children about climate change and the environment.
The agreement to broadcast the cartoon on PSM Channels was signed today by Permanent Secretary at the Tourism Ministry Ahmed Solih and E-commerce and Marketing Director at PSM Ibrahim Nasreen.
