“Saafu Raajje National Seminar” would be held each year under the “Saafu Raajje initiative”, the Environment Ministry says.
Briefing the media today, Environment Minister Thoriq Ibrahim said this is the first national seminar to be held regarding waste management.
This year, the seminar would be held from at Dharubaaruge Convention Centre from July 16 to 19.
The Ministry said delegates from all the islands, councils, NGOs and government institutions would be participating in the seminar.
