President Muizzu Visits University of Leeds, Discusses Future Collaborations

As part of his ongoing visit to the United Kingdom, President Dr Mohamed Muizzu visited the University of Leeds to explore opportunities for collaboration between Maldives and University.

The President was greeted by Member of Parliament of the United Kingdom Alex Sobel, and Professor Hai-Sui Yu, Provost and Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the University of Leeds.

Established in 1904, the University of Leeds is one of the United Kingdom’s most prestigious academic institutions, widely recognised for its excellence in research and strong global reputation. The President is a distinguished alumnus of the University of Leeds, having completed his PhD in Civil Engineering in 2009.
