Gov’t Seeks Contractor for Domestic Violence Shelter in Addu City

The government is seeking a party to construct a shelter for victims of domestic violence and gender-based violence in Hithadhoo, Addu City.

The project is part of the Strengthening Gender Inclusive Initiative project supported by the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The shelter, which will be managed by the Ministry of Social and Family Development, will provide a safe environment for victims of domestic violence.

The Ministry of Finance and Planning has issued an open competitive bidding process for the project. The tender will follow a single-stage one-envelope system.
