There have been no reports of injuries to Maldivians in Madinah, Saudia Arabia, in today's bombing near Masjid an-Nabawi, the Foreign Ministry says.
"Shocked to hear the news of the bomb blasts in Saudi Arabia tonight; Maldives condemns these terrorist attacks", Foreign Minister Dunya Maumoon said in a tweet. The Foreign Ministry said it is monitoring the situation in Saudi Arabia and confirmed that there have been no reports of injuries to Maldivians. "Information and queries about the incident will be provided through its hotline 7983400", the Ministry said.

Two security men are confirmed dead and 4 are seriously injured in the bombing near Islam's second holiest site in Madinah, the Saudi Gazette reported. It further reported that the suicide bomber blew himself up in the midst of the security men while breaking fast. The blast occurred between the call for Magreb Prayer and the start of Prayer, it said. Reports also said the suicide bomber was not able to enter the Prophet's Mosque courtyard.
