President Muizzu Reaffirms Commitment to Stronger Maldives-Lebanon Ties

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has extended congratulations to the new Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam on his appointment, reaffirming the Maldives’ commitment to strengthening bilateral ties.

In a message sent to the new Prime Minister, President Dr Muizzu expressed confidence for Lebanon’s progress under the Prime Minister’s leadership. Highlighting the close brotherly ties founded on shared Islamic values and interests between the countries, the President reaffirmed the government’s commitment to work to strengthen the Maldives-Lebanon relations.

The President further wished for the Prime Minister’s strength and wisdom during his tenure to bring peace and prosperity for the people of Lebanon.
