Turkish President visits Ataturk Airport after attack

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan visited Istanbul's Ataturk airport after three suicide bombers killed 45 people there earlier this week.

Erdogan prayed for the victims at a makeshift shrine and was shown the spot where one of the bombers detonated his device. In the attack on Tuesday night, three bombers opened fire outside Ataturk airport's international arrivals hall to create panic, before two of them entered the terminal building and blew themselves up. The third detonated his explosives at the entrance.

Two Russian nationals had been identified as suspected IS suicide bombers in the attack that is thought to have been masterminded by a Chechen, the Turkish media reported.
