MedTech Maldives Pvt. Ltd., a supplier of medical and pharmaceutical products, has formalised a partnership with OMRON Healthcare, a subsidiary of the OMRON Corporation of Japan. This collaboration, according to MedTech Maldives, will facilitate the distribution of OMRON's healthcare, medical, and pharmaceutical products throughout the Maldives.
During a ceremonial event, the agreement was signed by Mubah Rafeeu, Chief Executive Officer of MedTech Maldives, and Tetsuya Yamada, Managing Director of OMRON Healthcare in India. OMRON Corporation's diverse operations span industrial automation, electronic components, and social systems—including automated ticket gates and solar power conditioners—alongside its healthcare division. The company currently serves customers in over 130 countries.
MedTech Maldives, known for its expertise in distributing healthcare, medical, and pharmaceutical products, is now set to offer an extensive array of OMRON Healthcare products. This partnership, according to MedTech Maldives, represents a significant advancement in its mission to enhance the quality of healthcare products available in the Maldives and promote the overall health of its people.
Mariyam Waseema, Chief Strategy Officer of MedTech Maldives, remarked on the collaboration's potential impact, stating that it would enable the company to supply and distribute high-quality healthcare products for home use, including health monitoring devices. OMRON Healthcare's offerings, such as blood pressure monitors, nebulisers, and digital thermometers, are now available at MedTech outlets across the country, the company said.
