Maldives’ national airline, Maldivian is seeking agents to partner with as it looks to expand its recently launched wide-body operations to Malaysia and Thailand.
Maldivian is seeking agents in Bangkok, Thailand and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia adding that the opportunity to become its agents in these two countries is open until Tuesday.
Maldivian has commenced operations to China with its newest acquisition, the wide-body Airbus A330-200.
The airline is currently operating to three cities in China, including Chengdu, Beijing and Shanghai.
The acquisition of the new Airbus fulfils an electoral commitment by President Dr Mohamed Muizzu to introduce two wide-body aircraft for Maldivian. The government has plans to acquire an additional wide-body aircraft and initiate flights to European destinations by October this year.
