TAM Begins Licensing Maritime Training Institutions

Transport Authority of Maldives, TAM says it has begun licensing and accreditation of local maritime training institutions.

The move follows recent amendments to the maritime security regulations which require all personnel working on seafaring vessels to be trained and licensed before January next year. 

 The authority says it has so far licensed 3 institutions.
