Education Ministry on Monday established a document management system.
Speaking after inaugurating the system, Education Minister Dr. Aishath Shiham said the system would ease exchanges carried out between the ministry, relevant authorities and the people.
According to the Ministry, the document exchange system would enable relevant Government institutions and the public to access forms, information, and submit complaints and queries to the Ministry via the internet.
It would also acts as a digital secretarial system which logs all correspondences between the Ministry and relevant authorities and the public, and also allow internal document exchange, the Ministry said.
The Ministry added that the new system would also assist in cutting down the wastage of paper.
