Vice President Inaugurates Food and Beverage Show

The Food and Beverage Show, one of the largest food exhibits in the country, was inaugurated by the Vice President, Hussain Mohamed Latheef on Friday.

The eighth edition of the annual show, organised by local event company, Highrise Pvt Ltd will continue in the Hulhumale’ Central Park until Sunday.

After officially opening this year’s F&B show, the Vice President had toured the venue and visited several stalls.

The show is aimed at promoting services and products of the local F&B industry as well as providing a common platform for local suppliers to exhibit their range of products. More than 40 companies are participating in the Food and Beverage show this year.

The show, which was open to the public, will give visitors the opportunity to experience various products and participate in promotions conducted by various companies. This year's show features a variety of food, beverages and kitchen appliances.

The three-day show will be held every day from 4pm to 6pm and from 8pm until 11pm.

There are many different activities scheduled to be held during the show. There will be sessions with panelists in addition to several contests including pizza eating, cake decorating and baking along with a host of entertainment activities.

The show is aimed at wholesalers, retailers and manufacturers of F&B businesses across the country.
