President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has revealed the administration’s plan to equip all schools in the country with climate control systems powered by renewable energy by the end of September.
Addressing the residents of Hulhudhuffaaru, as part of his ongoing tour of several islands in Raa Atoll, President Dr Muizzu reassured the people that all development projects pledged during his presidential campaign will be fast-tracked this year.
The President also pointed out that his Administration had found solutions to restart various projects stalled since the previous government. He alluded to efforts to commence coastal protection initiatives, acceleration of road development works and vital improvements to the harbour's outer breakwater in Hulhudhuffaaru during the year.
While highlighting the ongoing project to air condition all schools in the country, President Muizzu revealed the current target of completing the initiative before the end of September.
The President assured the people that his Administration will continue to strive to fulfil the hopes and aspirations of the Maldivian people.
