'Rashu Expo' to Showcase Unique Maldivian Tourism, Boost Local Travel

Travel Guys, a local marketing and public relations firm, has announced plans for the 'Rashu Expo,' an event aimed at bolstering domestic tourism in the Maldives. Scheduled from 13 to 15 February at Hulhumalé Central Park, the exposition will bring together local councils and businesses to showcase the unique tourism offerings of the country.

Travel Guys, known for their expertise in developing distinctive and tailored digital strategies, brand identities, and visual designs, aims to help businesses stand out and engage their target audiences effectively.

The 'Rashu Expo' is dedicated to promoting domestic tourism across the country. Organisers have invited all local councils to participate and highlight the distinctive tourism products and attractions of their respective islands. The exposition will serve as a platform to emphasise the unique features, cultural heritage, and traditional significance of these islands, according to the organisers.

Given that many islands share the same name but are located in different atolls, organisers have assured that visitors will have access to detailed information about each specific location.

The exposition will also allow guesthouses on these islands to promote their offerings, including special promotions and packages catered to local tourists. Organisers noted that around 40 to 60 islands have already shown interest in participating and showcasing their tourism products at the exposition.
