President Assures to Deliver on his Pledges

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu on Thursday asked the people to attach certainty to their hopes that the current Administration will deliver on his presidential pledges.

Speaking to reporters after ending his three-day visit to islands in Huvadhu Atoll, the President said he was pleased with the outcome of the visit, as he was able to hear firsthand, the concerns of residents.

That engagement, according to the President, will enable the Administration to deliver developmental projects to the will of the people.

President Muizzu said the people have high hopes for his Administration and assured that he will definitely deliver on his presidential pledges.

"One of the things that comes from addressing requests in writing by being Male’ is delay. Another thing is that many times people don’t see what they come to fruition. I have worked in different capacities with many years of experience and I have seen it from multiple angles,” the President explained.

“So I believe it makes things much easier to come directly to the people and hear it firsthand.”

He reiterated that the government will deliver on its pledges according to people's wishes and reaffirmed that the current Administration stands firmly in service of its citizens.
