The Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Abdulla Khaleel has departed to India on an official visit. This is the Minister’s first official visit to India since assuming office on 30 September.
The Foreign Minister said he was visiting India at the invitation of his Indian counterpart, Dr S Jaishankar. During the visit, the Ministers will engage in discussion on further enhancing cooperation between the two countries on various sectors, and strengthening bilateral lateral relations.
President Dr Mohamed Muizzu also undertook an official visit to India last October. During the visit, high-level talks were held between both countries.
