President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has assured the Council of Fenfush, Alifu Dhaalu Atoll, that its key concerns will be addressed by the administration.
The President met with Fenfushi Island Council and Women's Development Committee (WDC) in Dhan'gethi, Alifu Dhaal Atoll, as part of his ongoing visit to select islands in the atoll.
During the meeting, Council members highlighted challenges in docking vessels and the absence of a purpose-built area for preparing the deceased for burial. The Council also requested the development of an additional volleyball court and the completion of the island's water and sewerage project.
In his response, the President assured that the concerns would be addressed according to priority.
During the meeting, Cabinet Ministers accompanying the President also shared updates regarding ongoing developmental projects in Fenfushi.
