President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has reaffirmed the government's commitment to establishing a culture centre in Dhan'gethi, Alifu Dhaal Atoll.
The President made the statement during a meeting with the Dhan'gethi Island Council and Women's Development Committee (WDC), as part of his ongoing tour to select islands of Alifu Dhaal atoll.
During the meeting, Dhan'gethi Council Members expressed concerns related to the island's harbour extension project. The council also noted housing issues facing Dhan'gethi, and requested a land reclamation project to be launched on the island to provide land plots for the youth.
