President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has congratulated the candidates of People National Congress (PNC) who contested the Women’s Development Committee (WDC) by-election for Kurinbee, Haa Dhaal atoll.
A total of six candidates participated in the by-election held Saturday, with three representing the ruling party and three from the opposing Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP). The winning candidates were Fathimath Nafiza Ismail, Inasa Adam and Raniya Mohamed, all from the ruling PNC.
In a social media post on X, President Muizzu congratulated the three candidates who contested the election under the PNC banner. He expressed gratitude to those who contributed to their success and those who participated in the vote.
